Hearing Voices in one's head is known as V2K (voice to skull)

There are different methods that are used to this effect.

"TIs (Targeted Individuals) can count on me as an expert in any court. Hearing voices without a visible reason cannot be considered anymore as a symptom of schizophrenia since they can be produced by a V2K device or another classified weapon."

Some notes from the patent:

The head is modelled as a 7cm sphere (S). It absorbs RF power which causes an increase in temperature that in turn causes an expansion and contraction which results in a pressure wave, in an acoustic wave.

The "opposition" or “resistance” of the sphere to acoustic flow is termed acoustic impedance. (Similar to impedance and resistance in electricity).

The specific acoustic impedance Zs of the sphere is calculated. It is shown that it has a lower cut-off break frequency of about 3,547 Hertz (Hz) for the parameters chosen. The essential frequency range of speech is about 300 to 3000 Hz, i.e., below the cut-off frequency. Therefore, as mentioned the Real part (Rc) will be used.

Let us consider how much power will fall onto the sphere. Below are some notes from the section:

Results for an AM Modulated Single Tone

“An RF carrier with amplitude Ac at frequency ωc is AM modulated 100 percent with a single tone audio signal at frequency ωa. The voltage (time) equation of this modulated signal is given by equation (2), below:

V(t)=A c sin(ωc t)(1+sin(ωa t))  (2)

The power signal is V(t)2  as given by equation (3).    A note to self: P(t)=V(t)2

It is mentioned that equation (3) has two terms that are in the hearing range.

The amplitude of the radius change Ur is calculated. It is a function of the power signal P(t).

Then, the acoustic pressure p(t) is calculated.

p(t)=R e {Z s U r }=R e(Z s)U r

Following an intermediate step the relationships below are obtained:

p(t)=C[Z s(ωa)sin(ωa t)−¼Z s(2ωa)cos(2ωa t)]  (8)

R e {Z s(f)}=ρo c(f/f c)2/(1+(f/f c)2)  (8a)

Quote: “This modulation is commonly accomplished in hardware by means of a circuit known as a balanced modulator, as disclosed, for example in “Radio Engineering”, Frederick E. Terman, p.481-3, McGraw-Hill, 1947.”
