The Arab World, a cultural hub of the 21st century?

The Institute is next to the Pierre and Marie Curie University Campus (Paris IV University). When walking by you can see wonderful newly renovated lecture halls (amphitheaters). It is the perfect environment for cultural activities and meetings in cooperation with the academic society or civil society actors (through a local authority co-ordination). Sometimes all that it takes is to have access to an empty school class! Volunteers can then organize things. For instance, in a different context, volunteer psychologists could offer valuable psychological advice via seminars for cognitive and behavioral therapy etc. Co-hosting of a 2014 cultural event for mental health by the University Paris Sorbonne (Centre Universitaire Malesherbes) was a wonderful initiative.
